Fat Birder's Travel

Australia is considered both a country and an island continent. It is a vast area offering very different faunal zones and habitats from tropical rainforest in the north, very hot dry desserts in the centre, temperate grasslands and cool coniferous forest in the southeast. Birding trips tend not to try and take in this huge country in one go but are centred on localities of high birding interest.
